Worldmobile Setting for Example Devices

In general, there are four important settings for devices: 

1- Mobile data usage must be allowed. In some devices, mobile data is turned off for the new sims.

2- Data roaming must be ON. Most manufacturers turn data roaming OFF by default to avoid high costs for data usage in other countries.

Worldmobile sims are specially made for roaming. Data roaming must be ON.

3- Worldmobile sims use selected networks in each country. It could be that you device/sim tries to connect to a network that is not covered. Please check that your device registers to a network that is in the coverage list of your Worldmobile sim.

4- APN settings (Access Point Name)

Usually APN is automatically set by the devices. But sometimes it may be necessary to set APN manually.

APN for Worldmobile PRO WORLD sim/esim is worldmobile

APN for other products (travelsim, travel esim and m2m sim) is send.ee . You can also use internet for these products.

Ajax Alarm Hub

  1. Insert the SIM card into the SIM-1 slot and follow the installation instructions
  2. Connect to LAN and turn on the Hub
  3. Use the Ajax Pro Installer App or Ajax User App as admin to open the mobile menu under the Hub settings
  4. Turn on mobile data, roaming, ignore the network registration error and disable ping before connecting. Then exit the menus completely
  5. Open the mobile menu again under the Hub settings, select SIM 1 and enter the SIM APN information before exiting the menu settings (see sticker on the SIM card). APN for worldmobile PRO sim is worldmobile and for the other sims send.ee
  6. The panel updates the GSM settings and the SIM registers in the network. After registration your device is ready to use.

TP-Link Mifi Routers

  1. TP-Link routers have Roaming OFF by default. You need to log into the TP-Link router and turn Roaming ON.

Alcatel Mifi Routers

  1. Alcatel routers have Roaming ON by default. You don’t need to set anything.
  2. If you encounter problems, then please check that the router connects to a supported network.

Huawei Mifi Routers

  1. Huawei routers have Roaming OFF by default. You need to log in to the Huawei router and turn Roaming ON.

CS Global MiFi Router:

You must first make a wifi connection with this router. Wifi name (SSID) and password (WIFI KEY) are printed on the back of the router. 

You do not have internet via the router yet, but you can log in to the installation page of the router

You must go to http://192.168.43.1 with an internet browser. User is admin, password is also admin

Data roaming is off by default on this router. You must turn data roaming on.

Go to “Wan” page, choose “Net Mode” subpage, then choose “Roaming Connect” ON. Also choose “Connect Mode” Auto, and Network Mode 4G/3G/2G
Go to “Wan” page, choose “Net Search” subpage, then choose “Automatic”.

You cannot get to the “WAN” page if the sim already has a connection. You must then first choose disconnect on the “Home” page.

After you have adjusted the settings, you can do “Connect” on the “Home” page.

If you do not have internet, you can choose the “APN Profile” subpage on the “Wan” page and choose the correct APN profile or create a new APN profile.

APN for travel sim is: internet
APN for PRO WORLD sim is: worldmobile

Worldmobile settings for GPS Trackers

GPS trackers usually have 2G connectivity. 

Setting the APN can be done by sending SMS messages to the tracker (see the tracker documentation, or search the internet for the tracker brand/model)

The phone number of travelsim and m2m sim is on the sim card and it starts with +372.

The phone number of Worldmobile pro sim starts with 3277. You can find the number by sending an SMS with the PRO sim to a mobile number, or by sending an email to Worldmobile by mentioning the long number on the sims that starts with 8932.

Some other trackers (like Teltonika) also have a configuration utility that you can run on a computer and configure the tracker.
